Having never been to Bournemouth before, I was unsure what to expect. My friends and I (in our 30s) wanted somewhere kosher to stay so we could explore Bournemouth as well as relax and rest.

When we arrived at the Water Garden Hotel we received a warm welcome from everyone and felt able to be ourselves throughout the trip. All the staff were friendly, kind, helpful and supportive, and we had a lovely time in a ‘home-away-from-home’.

I sometimes feel the impact of the amazing effort Chabad families put into their centres and homes, helping to ensure all Jews feel welcome and valued, is frequently underestimated. The fact the hotel also has a deli and a takeaway service I’m sure is a busy and time-consuming job, but all staff deliver their roles with a smile and we are so grateful for all they did for us. We hope to return very soon! :)

A wonderful weekend we were able to enjoy Celebrating the simcha of our bar mitzvah boy So graciously hosted by you and the staff Always ready to assist, you couldn’t do enough Right from the start, from the email conversation You showed an interest to accommodate our delegation Meeting with you one day in May You were willing to meet our needs in any which way The weekend itself you went above, beyond and more Staying late into the night until you were sure That everyone was happy, safe and sound Working non-stop in the background The food was delicious; variety and taste A new creation each course at each person was placed The clearing and the setting, efficient and fast For a better service we couldn’t have asked The staff were so friendly, made us feel at ease No request was too difficult; always ready to please The rooms were welcoming; comfy, clean and bright A pleasant room to walk into every night The kids talk about their stay and have fond memories Their parents and grandparents are equally pleased Your hotel is a place we will highly recommend And we look forward to another time there we can spend But meanwhile we thank you, we really appreciate All the efforts that went into making our stay great We can’t really imagine all the work you had to do But for all that and more we say a big THANK YOU May you continue to be busy hosting guests at the hotel And we’re sure they’ll enjoy it just as well!
